Hadassa Meyers, M.A. – Director of Educational Services

With more than 20 years of expertise in both general and special education, Hadassa Meyers is a dedicated advocate for neurodivergent learners and their families. She earned her Master of Arts in Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1999 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Stern College, Yeshiva University.

Hadassa’s extensive background includes classroom teaching, program coordination, and educational consulting. She specializes in supporting students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges—offering personalized guidance to families, educators, and school districts across Northeast Ohio.

In her role at A Plus Learning Solutions, Hadassa:

  • Coordinates customized service plans for individual students

  • Mentors teachers, tutors, and therapists to promote best practices

  • Consults with parents and school administrators to ensure student success both in and out of the classroom

  • Oversees the administration of the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program

Hadassa also provides one-on-one educational consulting and parent coaching to families navigating the world of special education and learning disabilities. Her compassionate, collaborative approach helps parents advocate for their child’s needs while building practical solutions that lead to real academic and emotional growth.

Andrea Schwartz, MA Ed.

Andrea brings over a decade of experience in special education and student advocacy. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from John Carroll University, followed by a Master’s in School Counseling from Kent State University and an Intervention Specialist certification from Cleveland State University.

Before joining A Plus Learning Solutions, Andrea served in various teaching roles within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. She now works as an Intervention Specialist, supporting students with special needs across several Northeast Ohio schools. At A Plus, she leads our parent communication program and mentors staff involved in our scholarship-funded services—ensuring strong partnerships between families, schools, and therapists.

Oren Meyers, PhD

Dr. Oren Meyers holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University. He completed his internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland and Brecksville, Ohio, followed by post-doctoral training in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Meyers currently serves on the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Pennsylvania and brings deep expertise in child and adolescent mental health to his role as Managing Director of A Plus Learning Solutions.
